Oakao - Branding
This is a passion project I created to help boost my portfolio, attract a new industry and reignite my love of design for fun.
THE BRIEF:
Oakao is a sustainable fashion brand, that recycles old materials, offcuts and second hand clothes and gives them a second opportunity, following a circular economy cycle. Oakao is the future of fashion. Where sustainability meets sophistication, minimalism and self expression. Oakao offers timeless pieces full of authenticity and style.
THE RESULT:
I wanted to create a typographic logo for this brand, and I played with the fact that OAKAO is a mirror word, meaning it reads the same forwards as backwards. This project included ideation, brand research, logo design, colour palette, typography, pattern design, web design and brand applications.
